Tango Warwick Classes & Practica as once usual! Absolute beginners welcome. Milongas
First: thanks to those who came to the "return" milonga on Friday and made it such a convivial and enjoyable event. We intend to have milongas on:
1st October at Warwick SPACE
29th, 30th, 31st October: Tango SPArkle
3th December at Warwick SPACE
7th January 2022 at Warwick Court House Ballroom
We take seriously our responsibility in not acting in a way which is likely to spread covid, and also in ensuring that those who are being especially cautious feel comfortable with us. This applies in particular to those who come with a partner and do not wish to switch partners. For this:
We have strict COVID SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: for all Tango Warwick events in September, including classes, the 1st October milonga, and Tango SPArkle we require participants to be in a position to show they are fully vaccinated by the time of arrival, and to take a lateral flow test before arrival. This is more than having an NHS domestic pass. We will use Test & Trace. It seems unlikely that we will be able to relax this as Autumn progresses. One method used to give evidence for having had the test is to bring the test strip in a clear plastic bag: there will be a bucket for you to dispose of it after inspection!

CLASSES with LUIS & ELIZABETH, 10th, 17th, 24th September.
These are with our resident teachers Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock.
You do not need to come with a partner.
The 6.30 class is available for new beginners, but may be of interest to dancers of all levels. The other classes are for more experienced dancers: if that fits you please come, you will be made very welcome. A lively practica/ social dance will round off the the evening, with some cake, wine, and soft drinks. Visitors welcome! it will be an enjoyable, instructive, evening in a friendly and supportive environment: come if you can! Once usual details below, though a slight increase in price- we are sorry!

The classes are with our resident teachers Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on dancing for the music and in a way suitable for potentially crowded dance floors has made them justly popular. They are based in London. FRIDAYs 10th, 17th, 24th September 2021:
6.30-7.30 Fundamentals (including beginners)
7.15-8.15 Improvers class
8.15pm for 8.30-9.30 Intermediate/Advanced class
9.35-10.20pm (approx) Practica.
Prices: 6.30 class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with improvers class £12 (£8).
Other classes £10 (£5) for one, £15 (£10) for the whole evening.
Practica: Free with classes otherwise £2 (£4)

OTHER COVID SAFETY suggestions &rules:
Please bring your own water or refreshments for use in the classes.
You will need to give track & trace info on arrival, either via the government QR code or manually.
Use of face coverings on arrival, in the corridors, foyer, & toilets, is recommended if others are around, but no need during the class or socialising afterwards.
Hand sanitisers are available but we recommend washing hands in the bathroom on arrival and maybe in between classes.
Please do not congregate in the foyer or corridors: they are not well ventilated.
In general use your most cautious bits of common sense! we really do want to stay dancing together .
