NEW BEGINNER's CLASSES/ Practicas/ Tango Calor/Tango Spa

New Beginners are encouraged to start at the 6.30 pm Class this Friday 13th Sept at St Mary's Church Hall, Leamington Spa. Workshops with Jenny & Ricardo Oria at Tango Spa v11 are nearly full. Workshops 3&4 are full, there is room for a leader or perhaps a couple for W5, for a leader for W2, for 2 leaders or perhaps couples for W1. NEW BEGINNERS WHO WISH TO START TANGO ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME TO THE 6.30 to 7.30 CLASS ON 13th SEPTEMBER TO START OFF THE AUTUMN SEASON.
The much admired teachers Luis Rodrigues and Elizabeth Knock are continuing their residency with Tango Warwick, giving classes at all levels, on Fridays, except, in general, on the first Friday of each month.

These are classes in Argentine Tango as danced internationally from Buenos Aires to Beijing, via Lisbon, Berlin, Istanbul, Kiev,..., Nairobi,... Goa, ...,Sydney, Hong Kong, Barford, & Paris see

***You do not need to come with a partner, and it is normal, and recommended, though of course not obligatory, to change partners frequently during the classes.

Beginners come to the 6.30 class together with those who want to brush up their fundamentals, or help and motivate the beginners.

In particular we welcome single dancers as well as couples, visitors, newcomers as well as those we haven't seen for months or years, irregulars and regulars alike.

The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango). If unsure of your level please ask the teachers; participation depends on the teachers consent.
The evening ends with a sociable and lively practica/ social dancing, with some wine, fine cordials, and cake. It will complete an instructive, friendly, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing.

THE TEACHERS are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality, and with dancing in possibly crowded social events in mind, has made them very popular.

TIMING
6.30-7.30 Fundamentals (including beginners); Please arrive at least 5 minutes before to help us start on time.
7.15-8.15 Improvers and fundamentals;
8.15 pm for 8.30-9.30 Intermediate/Advanced;
9.30-10.30 (approx) Practica
Classes continue on Fridays except for the first Friday of each month, in general. There are regular informal practice / social dancing sessions on Wednesdays, and a milonga (social dance) on the first Friday of most months which attracts dancers from a wide area in the Midlands and beyond.
PRICES:At door in cash
6.30 class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with improvers class £12 (£8). Other classes £10 (£5) for one, £15 (£10) for the whole evening.
Practica: Free with classes otherwise £3 (£5)

DRESS: Loose clothing is best, otherwise anything goes-see photos (of students, not teachers!).
SHOES: its best to have soles which can slide and slip on the floor, rather than rubber soles. Ladies often like an inch or so of heel, but lots use flat shoes. Comfort is important, but it's inconvenient for you if your shoes fall off.
