Tango Warwick classes this Friday at N.Hall / No milonga in November

THERE IS NO MILONGA at SPACE this week. The next is on December 7th.


THERE ARE CLASSES & PRACTICA THIS Friday, by Luis & Elizabeth but AT NORTH HALL (see below and map). North Hall is a nice room with good floor, somewhat larger than St Mary's.  The structure, timing and pricing are otherwise as usual (see below). Make sure you leave an extra 5 or ten minutes for parking (see below). The DJ for the practica will be Juan de Scarfo, fresh from his very successful and extended session at the Tango Spa Sunday cafe. There will be the usual soft drinks, cake, & wine to finish off an instructive and very enjoyable evening's tango

Luis & Elizabeth's absolute insistence on dancing for the music and in a way which can be done on crowded floors pervades their teaching from the very first minute, and has made them very popular.
Visiting tangueros, and those who haven't managed to come for the last few years or so will be most welcome to our classes, as well as more regular irregulars. The more advanced classes are by permission of the teachers.

Details for classes on 2nd  November (are otherwise as usual):


6.30pm to 7.30pm Beginners & Essential tango techniques. Please arrive a bit before the start if you possibly can, to help the class begin on time.
7.15 pm to 8.15 pm Improvers, Essential tango techniques.
8.15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm Intermediates.
9.30 (approx) to 10.30 (approx) Practica. DJ - Juan de Scarfo
PRICES: Beginners Class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with improvers class £10 (£8). 
Other classes £8 (£5) for one, £12 (£10) for the whole evening.
Practica: Free with classes otherwise £2.
WHERE: NORTH HALL, Spencer Yard, Leamington Spa, CV31 3SY. Short walk from train station and bus routes.

To get there: 
From Spencer Street, walking, turn left by "The Avenue" pub along the small road called "Spencer Yard", past rubbish bins, past Co-Op childcare entrance, to large piazza with modern entrance to Motion House/ Heartbreak Productions in corner. Use door in other  corner. North Hall is upstairs & part of Heartbreak productions.

PARKING: You must not park in the piazza, it may collapse! On street parking should be easy to find after 6 pm.

Bath Place CV31 3AQ Car Park is convenient. Free (or £1) from 6 pm-8am otherwise 50p per hour.

Station Approach Lower Road CV31 3SA is small but convenient. Costs £1 per hour , max £4.50 for 24 hours.

On Street Parking: There is a lot of 2 hour only parking until around 6 pm or 8 pm.

A/ Streets South of river and west of Parade (and of North Hall):

York Rd unrestricted on north side! 10 mins walk

Avenue Rd initially 2hrs free after 8 pm, but unrestricted if you go further West! 5-10 mins walk.

Archery Rd 4 hrs free, free after 8 pm (which means free after 4 pm I suppose)10-15 mins walk.

B/ South of River, around Parish Church, mostly 2 hours, free after 8 pm.
