Classes with Luis & Elizabeth/ February Milonga/ Breaking News

Luis & Elizabeth are back from BAires, and apparently looking forward starting up their 2019  residency as Tango Warwick teachers this Friday 25th January. Thank you very much Dante for your brilliant and enjoyable classes while they were away!

That means the St Mary's classes will be as excellent usual on 25th Jan then 8th, 15th,... Feb, together with the practica/ social dancing  which rounds off an instructive, sociable, and enjoyable evening. Details below.

Luis & Elizabeth's absolute insistence on dancing for the music and in a way which can be done on crowded floors pervades their teaching from the very first minute, and has made them very popular.
Visiting tangueros, and those who haven't managed to come for the last few years or so will be most welcome to our classes, as well as more regular irregulars. The more advanced classes are by permission of the teachers.

On Feb 1st  the Candlemas Edition of Milonga La Ideal will be at Warwick SPACE, with the same timing as usual (8.30 pm start) and with Kirsty Bennett as DJ to keep everyone dancing.

BREAKING NEWS FOR YOUR DIARY: As a very special treat the May edition of Milonga La Ideal will welcome back the dream team of live music by Tango Calor  and Mabel Gomez as DJ 😀  That's Friday May 3rd. Don't think of missing it!!

  • 6.30pm to 7.30pm Beginners & Essential Tango Techniques {Please arrive  a bit before the start if you possibly can, to help  the class to begin on time.} 

  • 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm  Improvers & Essential Tango techniques 

  • 8 15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm  Intermediates 

  • 9.30 (approx) to 10.30 (approx)   Practica,  DJ de Scarfo

  • Teachers:  Luis Rodriguez & Elizabeth Knock

  • Prices: 6.30pm class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with Improvers class £10 (£8). 

    Other classes £8 (£6) for one, £12 (£10) for the whole evening. Practica: Free with classes, otherwise £2

    It is in the church hall next to the traditional looking church towards the south end of St Mary's Rd. There is a car park by the side of the church and when that is full there is usually ample parking on the nearby roads. Also close to bus routes.
