Tango Warwick classes/ No March milonga/ Special milongas in April & May!

Our brilliant  resident teachers Luis Rodriguez & Elizabeth Knock will be in residence this Friday, 22nd February, and then Friday 8th March and subsequent Fridays in March. 

There are NO classes & NO milonga on 1st March (but a good milonga in Hereford if you can get there...).

If you are not familiar with Luis & Elizabeth's very special approach do come along to see. The evening ends up with a lively and cheerful practica/ social dance, with some wine, soft drinks & cakes, with Juan de Scarfo as DJ. Details are below.

SPECIAL MILONGAS:

For the May edition of Milonga La Ideal we will welcome back the dream team of Tango Calor playing for us live,  with Mabel Gomezholding the evening and us together as guest  DJ. As last year the Tango Calor ensemble will be 3 musicians plus their singer: a joy to listen to or dance to!

Usual details for classes in February:

  • 6.30pm to 7.30pm Beginners & Essential Tango Techniques {Please arrive  a bit before the start if you possibly can, to help  the class to begin on time.} 

  • 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm  Improvers & Essential Tango techniques 

  • 8 15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm  Intermediates 

  • 9.30 (approx) to 10.30 (approx)   Practica,  DJ de Scarfo

  • Teachers:  Luis Rodriguez & Elizabeth Knock

  • Prices: 6.30pm class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with Improvers class £10 (£8). 

    Other classes £8 (£6) for one, £12 (£10) for the whole evening. Practica: Free with classes, otherwise £2

    It is in the church hall next to the traditional looking church towards the south end of St Mary's Rd. There is a car park by the side of the church and when that is full there is usually ample parking on the nearby roads. Also close to bus routes.
