Classes & Special milongas

This Friday 8th Feb it's Luis & Elizabeth for classes at St Mary's. The hall was full to the gunnels last time, so we are not going out of our way to recruit new beginners though they will be welcomed if they come. AS will you!


 The practica afterwards with some wine, cake and soft drinks, and DJ de Scarfo finishes what is usually an exciting & enjoyable & friendly evening of tango. Lots of experienced dancers come for as much as the evening as they can manage to get to. See below for the usual details.

Usual details for classes in February:

  • 6.30pm to 7.30pm Beginners & Essential Tango Techniques {Please arrive  a bit before the start if you possibly can, to help  the class to begin on time.} 

  • 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm  Improvers & Essential Tango techniques 

  • 8 15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm  Intermediates 

  • 9.30 (approx) to 10.30 (approx)   Practica,  DJ de Scarfo

  • Teachers:  Luis Rodriguez & Elizabeth Knock

  • Prices: 6.30pm class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with Improvers class £10 (£8). 

    Other classes £8 (£6) for one, £12 (£10) for the whole evening. Practica: Free with classes, otherwise £2 

  • WHERE: St Mary's Church

    It is in the church hall next to the traditional looking church towards the south end of St Mary's Rd. There is a car park by the side of the church and when that is full there is usually ample parking on the nearby roads. Also close to bus routes.
