Tango Warwick Classes/ Diary of events

Wasn't Martina & Jose's performance in our milonga last Friday  sublime? a wonderful mixture of precision, elegance, joy,  and darker emotions. Hopefully there will be videos of it on U-tube soon.

Tango Warwick classses with Luis & Elizabeth resume this week, not forgetting the practica which rounds off the evening. Details as usual, repeated below.

If you are expecting to come to Milonga ALSO in July it would help if you can pre-register by either clicking "going" on the FB event notice, or emailing tangowarks @ gmail. com, subject "Milonga ALSO",  with just the names of the dancers in the message. Please don't  reply to this email, replies get lost in a long chain. If you want to buy dancer's discounted tickets for the whole weekend event ask me for the code.

  • Friday 5th July,  8 pm  (approx) -00.30 am approx :Milonga "La Ideal" ALSO edition: at the ALSO Festival  @ CV35 9HJ by beautiful Compton Verney, https://www.also-festival.com,  DJ  David Thomas, preceded 6.30 -7.30 by taster class (designed particularly for Festival goers)  by Dawid & Gosia and practica/ fraternisation period for festival goers & tangueros 7.30-8 pm. Price £10 for dancers includes admission for Friday evening. £20 for friends of dancers. Festival dinner £28. More details soon.

  • Friday 11th, Saturday 12th October:  Tango Warwick @ Warwick with Lorena & Gaston. Dancing at Courthouse Ballroom Friday evening, at The Great Hall of Lord Leycester Hospital on Saturday afternoon, and at Warwick SPACE on Saturday evening with performance. Workshops at St Nicholas Church Warwick on Saturday afternoon.

Details of classes for Fridays in June (are as usual):
6.30pm to 7.30pm Beginners & Essential tango techniques, Found useful by dancers of all levels. Please arrive a bit before the start if you possibly can, to help the class to begin on time.
7.15 pm to 8.15 pm  Essential tango techniques;  Improvers. 
8.15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm Intermediates. 
9.30 (approx) to 10.30 (approx) Practica.

Prices: Beginners Class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), , together with improvers class £10 (£8). 
Other classes £8 (£6) for one, £12 (£10) for the whole evening.
