Tango Warwick Classes/ Diary/ Thanks

Tango SPArkle happened! despite all, and was a worthy Tango Spa v8 thanks to the team, visible & invisible, who made it happen, the DJ's, the Oria's, and Corina Piatti, and to those who came and made it such a friendly and enjoyable occasion. Thank you all! very very much.

Tango Warwick classes and practica with Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock resume at St Mary's this Friday, Bonfire night. You do not need to bring a partner, and beginners are most welcome at 6.30 pm; see below for details,

BUT as for our Milongas we impose stronger covid entry conditions than many other places:

BASIC COVID ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: participants must be able to show they have been fully vaccinated and had a negative lateral flow test on the day.

An easy way to do the latter is to bring your test strip in a clear plastic bag, but the email or text from the NHS is fine. For St Mary's classes, exceptionally, the nhs covid pass suffices if you are dancing only with a fixed partner and not joining the practica. An NHS covid domestic pass valid for 3 days after the event can be used for the vaccination requirement.

~~~~~~~
Milonga Ideal is back in SPACE on December 3rd, 8 pm to midnight. Otherwise as usual, eg no partner needed, cabaceo encouraged, ..., apart from the entry requirements. Details later.
DETAILS ABOUT THE CLASSES:
Beginners should join the 6.30 pm class, and absolute beginners are welcome in September. Experienced dancers also join it in order to perfect their techniques, and help bring on beginners.
The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango)-if that fits you please come-you will get a warm welcome.
The evening is completed by a sociable practica, with some wine, soft drinks and cake. It should all be instructive, friendly, and enjoyable.
The teachers are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality and with dancing in milongas in mind has made them justly popular.
They are based in London. See https://tangoynadamas.org for more about them. They are often available for private or semi-private classes on Saturdays. For this please contact them via Luisyelitango@gmail.com
Please bring your own water or refreshments for use in the classes.
You will need to give track & trace info on arrival, either via the government QR code or manually.
Use of face coverings on arrival, in the corridors, foyer, & toilets, is recommended if others are around, but optional during the classes or socialising afterwards.
Hand sanitisers are available but we recommend washing hands in the bathroom on arrival and maybe in between classes.
Please do not congregate in the foyer or corridors: they are not well ventilated.
In general use your most cautious bits of common sense! we really do want to stay dancing together.
Hope to see you,
David (for Tango Warwick)
