This Friday: Milonga La Ideal, DJ Ewa Zbrzeska/ Diary
This Friday 3rd December, Tango Warwick is delighted to welcome Ewa Zbrzeska as guest DJ for the advent edition of Milonga La Ideal. London based, originally from Poland, Ewa has been regularly DJing at major London milongas, and has played at various UK & European events. Many of you will already know her.
Tango Warwick's covid entry conditions (see below) will be strictly enforced, but otherwise it will be the friendly, lively, milonga, tango dancers have come to love.
Warwick SPACE has been recently refurbished, with a good floor, in a large space reminiscent of Buenos Aires' Sunderland Club (some say), and with great acoustics.
There will be some nibbles, soft drinks, and wine for early arrivers, but BYOB if you wish.
We encourage good tango, nice ronda and cabeceo!
Above all there will be a warm welcome for visitors and once regulars alike.
Time: 8pm to midnight.

Cost (at door) : £12 (£8 for students with student card).
COVID ENTRY CONDITIONS: To enter you must be able to demonstrate completed vaccination or NHS certified antibodies, eg by an NHS pass valid until after 6th Dec, AND that you have taken a negative lateral flow test on 3rd December. An NHS pass is NOT enough!
Please ensure you respect the wishes of those who do not wish to freely change partners. We will provide arm/wrist bands for you if you wish to identify as such.

Warwick SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick; next to the Black Pug pub, aka Millwright Arms, and almost opposite a Sainsbury local. It is a short walk from Warwick Railway Station, and not far from M40 and A46. There are several hotels & B&B's nearby in this tourist area. The Jephson in Leamington is about 1.3 miles away, inexpensive, but generally found adequate.
PARKING is mostly on road, especially towards Warwick on the main road or Smith Street (one way, going East), on back streets (not very easy), or towards Warwick station. The St Nicholas Park car park is about 10 minutes walk away but you probably could do with a torch on the way back.

Luis & Elizabeth's last classes in the UK before February will be at St Mary's on Friday 10th December. They will concentrate on Vals from 7.30. Usual details, repeated next week.
On 11th December look out for Tango Baires' event in Warwick; milonga with live music preceded by a musicality talk. Booking essential. See attachment.
On 7th January 2022 Ricardo Peixoto will be in residence as DJ for Milonga La Ideal at the lovely Warwick Courthouse. Booking will be required-details next week.
