La Milonga Ideal (New Venue)/ Tango Spa v12 update

The first week of October: So no Tango Warwick classes until next week.  Instead there is the Glorious October edition of our monthly traditional milonga, La Milonga Ideal, which brings in dancers from across the Midlands and beyond.  Informal  Space practicas continue as usual on Wednesdays, 8.15 to 10.15, now back at Warwick Space and with Andy Adamson as resident DJ.  The Tango Spa v12 festival is soon, 24th -26th Oct !!!         If you haven't already booked see the update below.

La Milonga Ideal,  Glorious October edition, with Mabel Gomez & NEW VENUE:

Our October edition will match the glories of October with a gorgeous venue & superb DJ. Do come, join us and further enhance the evening!
We will be in the lovely Hatton Village Hall, about 4 miles north of Warwick with easy access from A46 and M40. Our guest DJ will be the ever popular Mabel Gomez, a brilliant practitioner of the tango DJ's arts.

TIME: 8pm to midnight, Friday 3rd October.
PLACE: Hatton Village Hall, Birmingham Rd, Warwick CV35 7LR. NOT Hatton Park Village Hall even if the map suggests it is!
PRICE: (In cash at door) : £12 (£8 for students with student card). IN CASH. Prebooking not required.
.
There will be some nibbles, soft drinks, fine cordials and wine for early arrivers, but BYOB if you wish.

We encourage good tango, nice ronda and cabeceo!

It will be the friendly, joyful, welcoming, and lively, milonga tango dancers have come to love. Above all there will be a warm welcome for visitors, occasionals, and regulars alike.

HATTON VILLAGE HALL is a red brick & stone, basically one storey, building in its own car park on the east side of the Birmingham Rd, A 4177, between Hatton and Haseley. We are in the Main Hall.

Coming from M40 take A46 towards Coventry at Junction 15, take left at first junction, onto A4177/A425 roundabout, go north on Birmingham Rd past Hatton. It is not the Hatton Park Village Hall!! Go past Hatton Arms pub and continue some way. The Hall will be seen on the right, after a slight bend, in the fork made by a small road, Firs Lane, forking right. The entrance is on Firs Lane. It is easy to overshoot!

PARKING is in the capacious car park, entrance on side road, or park on a side road.

TOURISM etc.: Birmingham Airport is close. There are several pleasant pubs and eating places nearby, some by canals. Plenty of accommodation can be found in Warwick, Leamington, Kenilworth, or Stratford-on-Avon. My favourite National Trust property the moated Baddesley Clinton house is just a few miles away.
