Raquel Injured : now beginners & improvers class+ milonguita "La Milonguita Inesperada"

Sadly Raquel Greenberg's injury has not healed enough and  prevents her from her guest appearance with us this Friday 16th January. We will use the time to have an extended class for beginners &  improvers followed by social dancing:  "The unexpected milonguita" in traditional milonga style with DJ the ever popular Andy Adamson.

All levels will be welcome, with or without partners. As usual we encourage experienced dancers to come as early as they can in order to inspire and encourage the others, and encourage the beginners/ improvers to stay for at least some of the milonga, even if only to watch and hear the music.

Friday 16th January, instead of Raquel Greenberg 's visit: You are warmly invited to La Milonguita Inesperada with pre-milonga  class for beginners & improvers

6.30 pm to 8pm: Beginners/ improvers class by Salim Vanak & Manvir Dobb.

8pm to 10.20 pm (approx): La Milonguita Inesperada, traditional milonga style with DJ Andy Adamson. (Some nibbles, cold soft drinks, wine, but BYOB if you wish.)

COST (At door, CASH ONLY!)

Class: £8 (£5 for students with student Id)

Milonguita: free with class, otherwise £6 (£5)

WHERE: St Mary's Church Hall , St Mary's Road, Leamington Spa, CV31 1JW. There is a substantial car park for the church, on the opposite side of the church to the church hall, as well as plenty of on road parking.

THE TEACHERS: Salim Vanak first started teaching Argentine Tango in 2014 when he founded a tango group in Leicester. Recently he has been giving classes for Warwick University Argentine Tango Society with Manvir, a very talented young dancer. Their style is traditional Argentine tango for social dancing, including in crowded milongas.

Do come, and/or encourage your students to come. It could be a very enjoyable, and valuable, evening.
