La Milonga Ideal with Mabel Gomez/ Classes &Practicas

This week we have a Practica on Wednesday at Space, 8.15 to 10.15,  and Classes by Luis & Elizabeth at St Mary's on Friday, but next week just the Wednesday Practica, because Friday is the first of the month and we have:

La MILONGA IDEAL, September edition, with Mabel Gomez.

TIME: 8pm to midnight, Friday 4th September 2026.
PLACE: Warwick SPACE, 71 Coten End, Warwick CV34 4NU.
COST (at door in cash only ) : £12 (£8 for students with student card). IN CASH. 

September, a perfect month for tango: days hopefully warm and sunny with the promise of the glories of October, and the evenings cool for dancing and enjoyment. Friday 4th sees the September edition of Tango Warwick's traditional milonga. 

We are very happy that the ever popular Mabel Gomez has agreed to DJ for us; assuring entrancing and exciting music 
to keep us dancing and delighted.

We will be back at our atmospheric home, Warwick SPACE. It is a large room with a good floor, in a space reminiscent of Buenos Aires' Sunderland Club (some say), and with great acoustics.

There will be some nibbles, cold soft drinks, fine cordials and wine for early arrivers, but BYOB if you wish.

We encourage good tango, nice ronda and cabeceo!

It will be the friendly, joyful, welcoming, and lively, milonga tango dancers have come to love. Above all there will be a warm welcome for visitors, occasionals, and regulars alike.

WARWICK SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick; next to the Black Pug pub, aka Millwright Arms, and almost opposite a Sainsbury local. It is a short walk from Warwick Railway Station, and not far from M40 and A46. There are several hotels & B&B's nearby in this tourist area. The Castle Limes Hotel is a few minutes away. Kenilworth hotels are a short drive away. You can even stay in Warwick Castle grounds.
PARKING is mostly on road, especially towards Warwick on the main road or Smith Street (one way, going East), on back streets (not very easy), or towards Warwick station. The huge St Nicholas Park car park is about 10 minutes walk away but you probably could do with a torch on the way back.
