Luis & Elizabeth extension!/ Raquel's Ladies

 There was a popping of corks and very good cheer at last Fridays practica to celebrate Luis & Elizabeth's agreement to extend their residency with us until Christmas. They have been superb. Their approach to teaching tango by emphasizing the overriding importance of the music and the fact that tango is most likely danced in fairly crowded conditions,  has brought people to their classes from far afield. We are very pleased to have them. The shellac 78's they brought last week were also a delight to listen and dance to.

It is essentially a month to the return of Raquel Greenberg's much appreciated "Ladies Techniques & Styling" Seminar. It hasn't been seriously advertised yet in order  to give the opportunity for local/ regulars  to get tickets, but there are still tickets left and external advertising will start by the end of this week. Details are in the attached poster.

7.15 pm to 8.15 pm  Improvers & Essential Tango techniques

8 15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm  Intermediates

9.30 (approx) to 10.30 (approx)   Practica,  DJ: de Scarfo

Prices: 6.30pm class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with Improvers class £10 (£8). 
Other classes £8 (£6) for one, £12 (£10) for the whole evening.

It is in the church hall next to the traditional looking church towards the south end of St Mary's Rd. There is a car park by the side of the church and when that is full there is usually ample parking on the nearby roads. Also close to bus routes.
