Tango Warwick Classes/ Milonga La Ideal May edition

Luis & Elizabeth are back this Friday, April 12th, with their very popular classes at St Mary's, Leamington Spa. These can be taken as a coherent whole, as many do, the more experienced often starting from 6.30 (or as early as one can get there); or on a class by class basis depending on experience. It is an evening of enjoyable endeavour, working in a supportive and friendly environment, to maximise enjoyment of dancing to tango music for both you and your partner.

The evening is rounded up by a lively practica with some wine, soft drinks and nibbles. Do come if you can; you will be warmly welcomed! Details below.

April 19th is Good Friday and St Mary's Church Hall is not available, so most likely there will be no classes then

The May milonga "La Ideal" on 3rd May will feature live music by the Tango Calor quartet plus  Mabel Gomez as DJ. It should be a brilliant evening-and I dare to say this even after the unforgettable wonders of last Friday's milonga with Guillermo Fernandez!   Details of the June and July milongas should be available soon.

Usual details for classes in April :

  • 6.30pm to 7.30pm Essential Tango Techniques {Please arrive  a bit before the start if you possibly can, to help  the class to begin on time.} 

  • 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm  Improvers & Essential Tango techniques 

  • 8 15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm  Intermediates 

  • 9.30 (approx) to 10.30 (approx)   Practica.  

  • Teachers:  Luis Rodriguez & Elizabeth Knock

  • Prices: 6.30pm class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with Improvers class £10 (£8). 

    Other classes £8 (£6) for one, £12 (£10) for the whole evening. Practica: Free with classes, otherwise £2.

    It is in the church hall next to the traditional looking church towards the south end of St Mary's Rd. There is a car park by the side of the church and when that is full there is usually ample parking on the nearby roads. Also close to bus routes.
