Milonga "La Ideal" with Guillermo Fernandez/classes etc

This Friday, 5th April, the April edition of Milonga "La Ideal" will welcome as special guest the singer Guillermo Fernandez. The list of awards Guillermo has achieved in his 50 years of tango is truly "awesome", including two times "Argentine Tango Singer of the Decade". It is matched by the icons of tango with whom he has worked, including Anibal Troila and Astor Piazzolla. A brief biography is copied below.  For us he will sing two sets of about 15 minutes, one to listen to, one to dance to. He comes thanks to Dante Culcuy and the Oxford Tango Academy.

Of course there will also be the usual warm welcome, smiles, good vibes round the excellent dance floor, with wonderful dances waiting to be had; and superb music for the rest of the evening to conjure up the dances: our co-founder and "resident" DJ Ricardo Peixoto will be seeing to that.

Also nibbles + some wine for early arrivers. Feel free to BYOB.

Warwick SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick. Next to the Millwright Arms and almost opposite a Sainsbury local, it is easily reached from the M40 and A46, and about 10 minutes walk from Warwick train station. As a major tourist area there are many hotels and B&B's nearby and in Leamington & Warwick.

Parking is plentiful around the venue in residential areas. Do not park in the adjacent pub or in Sainsbury’s – people have been fined there!
