Luis Rodrigues  & Elizabeth Knock return  from BA to continue as resident teachers this Friday 24th at St Mary's Leamington Spa. The details will be "as usual" as I'm sure will be the enjoyment. See below.

Tango Spa in full version will go ahead this year on 23rd-26th October. We have Jenny & Ricardo Oria to teach & perform, and The Royal Pump Rooms and Conservatory for Ball and cafes. More to follow .

On 14th February we will have guest teachers at St Mary's. Thanks to Dante's Oxford Tango Academy they will be his new arrivals: Hernan Alvarez Prieto and Flavia Morari. There will be two classes, from 7 pm, + practica. More later

Luis & Elizabeth's classes:

Luis & Elizabeth's absolute insistence on dancing for the music and in a way which can be done on crowded floors pervades their teaching from the very first minute, and has made them very popular.

Visiting tangueros, and those who haven't managed to come for the last few years or so will be most welcome to our classes, as well as more regular irregulars.

The first class, at 6.30, will be designed with those who started tango since last summer in mind, but will benefit dancers of all levels. Many experience dancers take it or at least come as early as they can. The more advanced classes from 7.30 on are by permission of the teachers.

The lively practica/ social dance with some nibbles, drinks and wine, will complete a happy, sociable, and instructive evening's tango.

6.30pm to 7.30pm: Essential tango techniques. Please arrive a bit before the start if you possibly can, to help the class begin on time.7.15 pm to 8.15pm: Improvers and Essential tango techniques.8.15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm: Intermediates. 9.30 (approx) to 10.30 (approx): Practica.DJ Andy Adamson

PRICES: 6.30 Class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with improvers class £10 (£8).
Other classes £8 (£5) for one, £12 (£10) for the whole evening.
Practica: Free with classes otherwise £2.
