Beginners, Improvers, Int/ Adv Classes with Luis & Elizabeth/ Milonga 4th March
Tango Warwick's Friday classes with Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock recommence this Friday,11th February at St Mary's Church Hall, Leamington Spa following Luis & Elizabeth's return from Argentina.
Absolute beginners will be welcome at the 6.30 class together with those who want to brush up their fundamentals, or help and motivate the beginners.
In particular we welcome single dancers as well as couples, newcomers as well as those we haven't seen for months, irregulars and regulars alike.
If you are not familiar with Argentine Tango, you will find more, eg about clothing and shoes in
https://www.meetup.com/Warwickshire-and-Coventry-Argentine-Tango/events/283485405/
It is a social dance. As an example see tango vals in Paris here

where anybody passing by who can tango, with or without a partner, can join in.
The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango) with permission from the teachers-if that fits you please come.
The evening ends with a sociable and lively practica, with some wine, fine cordials, and cake. It will complete an instructive, friendly, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing.

Details of Friday's classes:
The teachers are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality and with dancing in milongas in mind has made them justly popular.
They are based in London. See https://tangoynadamas.org for more about them. They are often available for private or semi-private classes on Saturdays. For this please contact them via Luisyelitango@gmail.com

For your and our safety, and the NHS, we impose
(modified) COVID SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
All participants must show that they have had a negative lateral flow test that day (you can just bring the test strip for this). For Friday 11th, at least, we will also require
dancers who come without a partner or who wish to change partners, or join the practica, to show they have completed their vaccination, at least 2 jabs, by the time of the class (or have certified antibodies). If cases and hospital admissions continue to fall we expect to drop the vaccination requirement soon.
Please remember that, at the moment, covid is highly infectious. These safety conditions reduce but do not rule out the possibility of infection. If you come you have to be prepared to accept that possibility.
