Tango Warwick classes in March at St Mary's (TTM).

Tango Warwick's classes & practica with our resident teachers Luis & Elizabeth are back in full swing! are you??

Each week the 6.30 class is on Fundamentals. For the more advanced 7.15 & 8.30 classes Luis & Elizabeth will now be using the traditional sequence TTMTTWTTMTTW... applied to the sequence of weeks with T, M, V referring to tango, milonga, and vals respectively. This way the other dances, milonga and vals, do not get neglected.

We welcome single dancers as well as couples, newcomers as well as those we haven't seen for months, irregulars and regulars alike.
Beginners should join the 6.30 pm class. Experienced dancers also join it in order to perfect their techniques, and help bring on beginners.
The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango) and by approval of the teachers-if that fits you please come-you will get a warm welcome. In the 7.15 class on 25th Feb the fundamentals of milonga will be introduced, with the more advanced 3rd class devoted to that exciting and fun dance.

The evening is completed by a sociable and lively practica, with some wine, soft drinks and cake. On 18th March Juan de Scarfo will DJ. It will be instructive, friendly, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing.

Covid entry conditions apply, see below, essentially lft test unless you have been recently infected.

The teachers are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality and with dancing in milongas in mind has made them justly popular.
They are based in London. See https://tangoynadamas.org for more about them. They are often available for private or semi-private classes on Saturdays. For this please contact them via Luisyelitango@gmail.com

For your and our safety and the NHS we impose:
MARCH COVID ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: You must show you have had a negative lateral flow test in the 24 hours prior to the class (you can just bring the test strip for this). Exceptionally a test is not needed if you show you are fully vaxxed and show you have tested positive between Christmas 2021 and 10 days prior to the event.

However if the covid situation deteriorates during the month we may strengthen these requirements and require proof of vaccinations.

It is important to realise that these requirements reduce the possibility of infection but do not remove it.

Hope to see you!
