Classes + pratica at ST MARKS/ Saturday's Ball & Workshops/ covid caution
This week, as well as the special Ball and workshops on Saturday June 11th, on Friday there will be, :
TANGO WARWICK CLASSES & EXTENDED PRACTICA WITH LUIS RODRIGUES & ELIZABETH KNOCK but exceptionally AT ST MARKS CHURCH HALL.
As always, visiting and returning tangueros will be most welcome.
The first class, on Tango Fundamentals at 6.30, will be suitable for recently started beginners, but will benefit dancers of all levels. Many experienced dancers take it to improve their techniques and help bring on the beginners; or at least they come as early as they can.
Please only come to the more advanced classes if you are ready for them: the teachers will give advice.
The lively practica/ social dance with some nibbles, fine cordials, and wine, will last for approx 90 minutes and complete a happy, sociable, and instructive evening's tango. Andy Adamson will DJ.

Details for 10th June (are as usual, apart from venue and practica):
6.30pm to 7.30pm :Essential tango techniques. Please arrive a bit before the start if you possibly can, to help the class begin on time.
7.15 pm to 8.15pm: Improvers and essential tango techniques.
8.15 for 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm: Intermediates.
9.35 (approx) to 11.00 pm (approx) Practica. DJ Andy Adamson.
PRICES: Beginners Class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with improvers class £12 (£8).
Other classes £10 (£5) for one, £15 (£10) for the whole evening.
Practica: Free with classes otherwise £5.
WHERE: St Mark's Church Hall, Rugby Rd, Leamington Spa, CV32 6DL. On no 1 bus route. Good car park.
(Enter car park through St Marks Rd entrance. The entrance to the Hall is on the left in the corner with the Church, by some bushes.)

COVID PRECAUTIONS for Tango Warwick events in June:
In view of the reduced prevalence of covid in England we will not ask for proof of negative test. However if you have had a reasonable possibility of being infected, eg by going on crowded public transport, or visiting a crowded pub, or if you have any likely symptoms, please do take a test as near to the start time as possible, or do not come.
It is important to realise that these precautions reduce the possibility of infection but do not remove it. Infections can cause disruption to travel plans and to vital work, as well as the possibility of long term effects, and potential stress to the NHS.
