Milonga & tango classes & practica at St Mary's/ News
For this Friday,16th September, at St Mary's classes, the concentration will be on milonga from 7.30 pm. With our resident teachers Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock love of that exciting and fun dance it will be an evening not to be missed!. Beginners are welcome at the 6.30 class. We are very happy to anounce that John Tan will DJ for October's Milonga La Ideal, October 7th, and that Corina Piatti will perform for our advent Milonga on December 2nd !

DETAILS of classes are essentially as usual, but repeated here:
We welcome single dancers as well as couples, newcomers as well as those we haven't seen for months, irregulars and regulars alike. Summer visitors especially welcome.
Beginners should join the 6.30 pm class. Experienced dancers also join it in order to perfect their techniques, and help bring on beginners.
The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango) -if that fits you please come-you will get a warm welcome. If in doubt ask the teachers for advice.
The evening is completed by a sociable and lively practica, with some wine, fine cordials and cake. It will be instructive, friendly, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing.
The teachers are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality and with dancing in milongas in mind has made them justly popular.

TIMING:
6.30-7.30 Fundamentals (including beginners). Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so we can start on time.
7.15-8.15 Fundamentals and improvers milonga class;
8.15pm for 8.30-9.30 Intermediate/Advanced milonga class;
9.30-10.30 (approx) Practica.

PRICES: 6.30 class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with improvers class £12 (£8)
Other classes £10 (£5) for one, £15 (£10) for the whole evening.
Practica: Free with classes otherwise £2 (£4)

WHERE: St Mary's Church Hall , St Mary's Road, Leamington Spa,CV31 1JW. There is a substantial car park for the church, on the opposite side of the church to the church hall, as well as plenty of on road parking.
