Classes & practica/ Milonga La Ideal (October ed)

All level Argentine Tango classes and practica continue in Leamington this Friday 9th September and subsequent Fridays (save the first Friday of each month). Visitors most welcome! and beginners welcome to the 6.30 class. The usual details repeated below.

Milonga La Ideal (October edition) DJ: John Tan. Tango Warwick's next milonga will be on Friday 7th October at Warwick SPACE, 8 pm to midnight. We are very happy to announce that the DJ will be John Tan. Details later, but as usual.

Usual details for Friday 9th September:

We welcome single dancers as well as couples, newcomers as well as those we haven't seen for months, irregulars and regulars alike. Visitors especially welcome.

Beginners should join the 6.30 pm class. Experienced dancers also join it in order to perfect their techniques, and help bring on beginners.

The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango) -if that fits you please come-you will get a warm welcome. If in doubt ask the teachers for advice.

The evening is completed by a sociable and lively practica, with some wine, fine cordials and cake. It will be instructive, friendly, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing.

The teachers are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality and with dancing in milongas in mind has made them justly popular.

TIMING:

6.30-7.30 Fundamentals (including beginners). Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so we can start on time.
7.15-8.15 Fundamentals and improvers;
8.15pm for 8.30-9.30 Intermediate/Advanced ;
9.30-10.30 (approx) Practica.

PRICES: 6.30 class £8 (£5 for students with student Id), together with improvers class £12 (£8)
Other classes £10 (£5) for one, £15 (£10) for the whole evening.
Practica: Free with classes otherwise £2 (£4)

WHERE: St Mary's Church Hall , St Mary's Road, Leamington Spa,CV31 1JW. There is a substantial car park for the church, on the opposite side of the church to the church hall, as well as plenty of on road parking.

Covid Precautions: we will not ask for proof of anything. However the prevalence is still fairly high so if you have had a reasonable possibility of being infected, or if you have any likely symptoms, please do take a test as near to the start time as possible, or do not come.
