Luis & Elizabeth's classes/ Luna Palacios/milongas & practicas

Our super-popular "resident" teachers Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock will resume regular classes at St Mary's on Friday 13th April. They delight, inspire, and enthuse with their total commitment to elegance and musicality from beginners onward.

The evening will be rounded off as usual by a lively practica with Juan de Scarfo as DJ together with some wine, soft drinks, and cakes to make an enjoyable evening of tango.

Tango Baires' monthly milonga will meet on Saturday 14th April with Darren Taylor as guest DJ. The venue, in Warwick, with good car parking,  is charming and with an intimate atmosphere. Come along to see if you have not been before; Juan de Scarfo will  warmly welcome you, and Darren will ensure you keep dancing. At door: £8 (£5 for students with student Id).

We are delighted that the legendary tango icon Luna Palacios will be visiting us in August. Dante Culcuy will partner her for a pre-milonga workshop and then a show at our August Milonga La Ideal on 3rd August. It is in the church hall next to the traditional looking church towards the south end of St Mary's Rd. There is a car park by the side of the church and when that is full there is usually ample parking on the nearby roads. Also close to bus routes.
