Booking is now open for Milonga "Royal Jubilee Ball" on Saturday June 11th, with performance and workshops by 2014 world salon tango champion Lorena Gonzalez & Gaston Camejo:

Workshops:

All at St Mark's Church Hall, Rugby Rd, Leamington Spa , CV32 6DL, for easy parking.

12.30-2pm, W1= Traditional steps for the dance floor {Improvers onward}

2.15-3.45 pm, W2=Uses of barridas, and leading precision {Intermediates}

4 pm -5.30 pm, W3= Dynamics in circular motion {Intermediate/ advanced}

Milonga "Royal Jubilee Ball" :

In Regency glory at The Assembly Room, Royal Pump Rooms, The Parade, Royal Leamington Spa, CV32 4AA with a performance by Lorena & Gaston.

Timing: 8 pm to 12.50 am

Booking: via https://forms.gle/GCnvBkidy4jcmXHq5 . Workshops will be gender balanced; for this a queuing system will operate, possibly with rationing, so it is helpful if you can book in couples. We will ask to see negative LFT test results taken that day, unless there is a major change in covid prevalence. If the covid hospitalisation situation deteriorates seriously we might ask for proof of vaccination.

Prices:

Evening milonga "Royal Jubilee Ball" with performance: £20 pp.

Individual workshops: £15 pp.

Discounts: 2 workshops + ball for £45

3 workshops + ball for £60.

NB (i) We could have an afternoon milonguita at the Pump Room Conservatory if enough people want it-and tell me. Probably an extra £10, or £5 with a workshop, free with 2 workshops, pay at door. It is about 20 minutes' walk from the workshop venue, St Mark's, to the Pump Rooms.

NB (ii) On Friday 10th June, Luis & Elizabeth will be giving their usual classes 6.30 pm to 9.30pm +extended practica 9.30 pm to 11 pm. At St Marks though, not St Mary's.
