MILONGA IDEAL REPLACED BY "WARM EMBRACE in WINTER " MILONGA, DJ ANDY ADAMSON.

The (usually over)- heating system at Warwick Space has collapsed.  We are hiring a Space heater which it seems can get the hall adequately warm. However it will not be as "ideal" as it might be eg the toilets will be chilly, though there will be a warm room (by the door) to change shoes etc in. To make a virtue out of necessity  and to ensure lots of us still have a good evening, Milonga La ideal (pre-advent edition) will be replaced by "Warm embrace in Winter" Milonga, at Warwick Space, 8pm.... the DJ will be Andy Adamson, the perfect DJ to keep us all dancing or tapping our feet. There will be extra mulled wine etc as well as unmulled wine etc., as well as extra general good cheer, welcoming atmosphere, and most of the good things you can think of.  BYOB if you like.

  It might be prudent  though to have something warm to put on in case of chilliness.

WARWICK SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick; next to the Black Pug pub, aka Millwright Arms, and almost opposite a Sainsbury local. It is a short walk from Warwick Railway Station, and not far from M40 and A46. There are several hotels & B&B's nearby in this tourist area. The Castle Limes Hotel is a few minutes away. The Jephson in Leamington is about 1.3 miles away. Some swear by its breakfast. You can now even stay in Warwick Castle grounds.

PARKING is mostly on road, especially towards Warwick on the main road or Smith Street (one way, going East), on back streets (not very easy), or towards Warwick station. The St Nicholas Park car park is about 10 minutes walk away but you probably could do with a torch on the way back.
