Milonga Ideal with Ricardo Peixoto/ Classes on Fridays 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st March

Milonga Ideal Friday 3rd March.

Tango Warwick invites you to enjoy and enhance the March edition of their monthly milonga.

Our resident DJ, Ricardo Peixoto, will give us the music  for the coming in of March which leaves no choice but to dance; as the lion emulating the early lamb, and with no time to lie down with it. It will be your last chance to dance to his music with us for several months; to find him try events in Italy, Denmark, France or Portugal, before June. Even worse there will be no April edition at all because of Easter.

We will be at home in Warwick SPACE. It is a large room with a decent floor, in a space reminiscent of Buenos Aires' Sunderland Club (some say), and with great acoustics.

We encourage good tango, nice ronda and cabeceo!  For more about the latter, and the relevance of March see https://fb.me/e/2wAGuB2bK

There will be some nibbles, soft drinks, fine cordials and wine for early arrivers, but BYOB if you wish.

It will be the friendly, joyful, and lively milonga tango dancers have come to love. Above all there will be a warm welcome for visitors, regulars, and once regulars, alike. Quoting a distinguished tanguero "a lovely milonga with a barrio feel, very good and friendly social dancers and a fluid ronda."

TIME: Friday March 3rd , 8pm-midnight.
PLACE: Warwick SPACE, 71 Coten End, Warwick CV34 4NU.
COST (Cash at door only) : £12 (£8 for students with student card). In cash. Prebooking not required.

WARWICK SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick; next to the Black Pug pub, aka Millwright Arms, and almost opposite a Sainsbury local. It is a short walk from Warwick Railway Station, and not far from M40 and A46. There are several hotels & B&B's nearby in this tourist area. The Castle Limes Hotel is a few minutes away. The Jephson in Leamington is about 1.3 miles away. Some swear by its breakfast. You can now even stay in Warwick Castle grounds.
PARKING is mostly on road, especially towards Warwick on the main road or Smith Street (one way, going East), on back streets (not very easy), or towards Warwick station. The St Nicholas Park car park is about 10 minutes walk away but you probably could do with a torch on the way back.
HEALTH PRECAUTIONS If you think you may have been infected with covid please take a test. If a test is positive or you are feeling unwell please stay away, especially if you think it may only be the flu!
