Milonga La Ideal with David Thomas

The buds on the May trees may be still embryonic and Spring has been cruelly interrupted, but the tinkling of the Morris dancers bells must have reminded you that it is time for the May edition of Milonga La Ideal. 

  This time we will have David Thomas as special star guest DJ. He is the resident DJ of Tango Journey and regularly guest stars elsewhere in the  UK and across Europe. His much acclaimed book ‘Getting To Know: Twenty Tango Orchestras’ introduces the reader to the orchestra leaders, the signature sounds, and the most popular singers and musicians. (He will be bringing a few to sell at the special price of £12.)

Of course there will be the usual warm welcome, traditional music, good company, lovely dances waiting to be had, delightful vibes, plus nibbles with some wine for early arrivers---but BYOB if you wish!

ALSO Miranda Perdja will be there with a selection of shoes and to take orders for Miranda y Stefano's bespoke Italian tango shoes.

Warwick SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick. Next to the Millwright Arms and almost opposite a Sainsbury local. The floor is very nice, the acoustics, great. Parking is plenty around the venue in residential areas but do not park on the pub next door or in Sainsbury’s – people have been known to be fined there! It is a short walk from Warwick railway station. There are several B&B's nearby and hotels etc in Leamington & Warwick.
