TANGO CLASSES WITH GUEST TEACHER DANTE CULCUYFridays 14th, 21st, & 28th January:
We are delighted to be able to welcome Dante Culcuy as guest teacher at St Mary's on Fridays 14th, 21st, & 28thJanuary. He will be assisted by Lilie Louise. Dante has been a good friend to Tango Warwick over the years and his brilliant teaching and dancing has made him much appreciated on previous visits. If you want to know more about his background etc see below for a brief pre-lockdown bio.
For these Fridays there will be two classes each evening. We will not be catering for new beginners until February-sorry!
At 7.15 pm there will be a class suitable for improvers level and above. This includes those who may had just started to come to Luis & Elizabeth's 7.15 class at St Mary's. It can also serve as a time for improving the all important basic techniques. At 8.30pm there will be the usual more advanced class restricted to more experienced dancers.
Newcomers and visiting tango dancers will be made very welcome; and afterwards there is a practice/ social dancing session with Juan de Scarfo returning as DJ and some wine, soft drinks, and cake, to round up an enjoyable and instructive evening.
The practica is after the third class but is open and free to those who have done any of the classes (and a nominal charge to others).

For your and our safety we impose:
COVID SAFETY REQUIREMENTS FOR CLASSES: Dancers who come without a partner or who wish to change partners, as normal in non-covid times, or join the practica must be able to show they have completed their vaccination by the time of the class AND have had a negative lateral flow test in the 24 hours prior to the class (you can just bring the test strip for this). If you come with a partner and will not dance with anyone else during the evening, nor join the practica, you must have the equivalent of a current NHS covid pass : essentially vaccination OR test. You must also agree to sensitively respect other's wishes so far as social distancing and other covid precautions are concerned.
