Tango Spa v11, 25th -27th Oct 2024. Booking open.
TANGO SPA v11.
Tango Warwick's weekend festival, Tango SPA, will be held this year from the evening of Friday 25th October to that of Sunday 27th October. In general, by popular demand, it will follow the same lines as previous Tango SPA's, but with small timing changes. One of those "same lines" is to be especially welcoming to newcomers. So whether or not you have been before we hope you can come!
There will be over 20 hours of dancing in fine venues in Warwick & Leamington Spa, with D J's to match the occasion. Jenny & Ricardo Oria will perform at the Saturday Ball in the glorious Royal Pump Rooms, The Parade, CV32 4AA, and give 5 workshops and a welcome class. Corina Piatti will sing for us to listen, dance, or dream to at the Sunday evening Twilight Tango, also in the Royal Pump Rooms.
Afternoon milonguitas will be in the delightful Royal Pump Rooms' Conservatory.
Jenny & Ricardo Oria's classes will be just round the corner in North Hall, Spencer Yard, CV31 3SY.
These are all in Central Leamington; 5 or 6 minutes walk from each other, and from hotels, B&B's, restaurants, etc.
On Friday evening our opening milonga will be in the much appreciated elegance of Warwick Court House Ballroom, Jury Street, Warwick CV34 4EW a couple of miles away. Ricardo & Jenny give a welcome class there first.
There are many hotels and B&B's nearby. The area is a major tourist zone with Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, and Stratford-on-Avon nearby. Oxford is 35 minutes by train; the Cotswolds an easy drive away.
Tango Warwick's team look forward to welcoming you to a truly gorgeous weekend of tango !

BOOKINGS:
Workshops and passes: must be booked and paid for in advance and will only be re-confirmed when we are aware that payment has arrived.
For these: email bookings taken via tangowarks@gmail.com under heading Tango Spa v11 [Please do not reply to this email!]
specifying
(1) which dance events or workshops you want to attend and
(2) your name plus contact number and email address, and distinguishing names of any others you are booking for and
(3) for workshop bookings whether they are being booked as leaders or followers
(4) for dance events whether they expect to mainly dance as leaders or followers or to switch.
Individual dance events: can be booked/preregistered using the google form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScWMDH70SCXBZdpPyiFnHLgSZhM8zvjQLoVqNtA1JELIIe35w/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1&flr=0 .
For these you do not need to pay immediately to hold a booking. If this proves difficult use tangowarks@gmail.com under heading Tango Spa v11.
We aim to balance the number of leaders and followers in each workshop (not the welcome class). To help us, please book early and if possible with a partner, but early is more important. A waiting list will be operated.
We do not find specific people to partner those who book without one, we just aim to ensure that there is a partner available. Rationing may be imposed.
Please also make sure you do not apply for workshops above your level of experience: the advertised level “INT” means “Intermediate and onwards”.
If any of the dance events look as if they will be overfull we will stop bookings for them and maybe any passes that include them. This has happened in the past, but is not expected unless possibly for the Friday milonga.
